Turning Ni, Fe & Co based high temp. alloys, Ti alloys, W alloys, Mo alloys, Zr alloys, Gray cast iron, Turning and milling of Al , Textile shearing. |
Used for buttons in percussive drilling bits, both threaded and down–the–hole. Used in quarrying, mineral mining & waterwell drilling. |
For cutting operations at slow speeds where toughness is required. In addition it may be used on materials which require positive rake angles. |
For use as a general purpose C-2 carbide. Metal removal operations include turning, facing, boring & milling. Standard grade for brazed carbide tooling and woodworking tips. |
Heavy-duty machining at low speeds and interrupted cuts. May be ran uncoated or coated. Best heavy shock substrate available. |
Widest application of the general, all-purpose grades. excellent choice for a variety of brazed x & cross percussive bits, geophysical tips for drag bits & serrated compacts for drill string stabilizers. |
