Dissolve CTAB (hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide) with deionized water to obtain the clear solution. Add H2WO4 powder into CTAB solution, which is stirred continuously, and then add Na2S to undergo hydrothermal reaction at 180°C for 12 hours to obtain tungsten trioxide with the morphology of nano band. Using Na2WO4 as raw material, tungsten trioxide with nano band shape may also be synthesized after mixing sulfate.
