Tungsten trioxide powder for heat insulating window glass may be prepared by micro-emulsion method. This type of window glass is popular in home decoration, office, exhibition hall and the like.
The micro-emulsion method is a new method for preparing micro-sol, which is developed in recent years, and it is often composed of surfactant, cosurfactant, solvent, and water (or an aqueous solution). In this system, two immiscible continuous media are divided into tiny space by a surfactant amphiphilic molecule to form micro-reactor, and the reactants react in the system to generate solid phase particles, and the size of the micro-emulsion particles can be controlled in a few dozens of nanometers.
Tungsten Trioxide Powder Prepared by Micro-emulsion Method
Weight non-ionic surfactant polyvinyl alcohol and dodecanol diethanolamine 50g in a weight ratio of 6:4 as mixed emulsifier, dissolve in 950g xylene-water system to prepare nano spherical tungsten trioxide with minimum size of 15nm.
