Cesium tungsten oxide (Cs0.33WO3), which has good optical properties, may be applied for preparing nano-ceramic dispersion solution. The Cs0.33WO3 nanopowder makes this kind of ceramic dispersion solution has at least 75% visible light transmittance at 500nm, while shielding rate of the near-infrared light at 1000nm is up to 91%.
Preparation of Nano-ceramic Dispersion Solution of Cesium Tungsten Oxide
The transparent nano-ceramic dispersion solution was prepared by hydrothermal method using sodium tungstate (concentration of 0.3mol/L) and cesium sulfate as raw materials. The effects of preparation conditions such as concentration of raw materials, mixing time and hydrothermal temperature on the morphology, structure, dispersion performance in water, and the optical properties of aqueous dispersion solution of cesium tungsten oxide nanoparticles were observed to determine suitable preparation conditions. The results are shown as follows:
The molar ratio of cesium/tungsten is 0.3:1. The volume ratio of water/ethylene glycol is 60:15. The stirring time of precursor is 1h. The hydrothermal pH is 2. The heating rate of hydrothermal reaction is 2°C/min. The temperature of hydrothermal reaction is 230°C and the hydrothermal time is 20h.
