CsxWO3 is a kind of transparent thermal insulation material. As an energy-saving material, it has very wide application prospects in the fields of architectural glass and automotive glass.
The figure above shows the “Heat Insulation Curve of Glass Coated with CsxWO3 Film”. As can be seen from the figure, there is significant difference in heating rate between glasses coated with CsxWO3 films of different Cs content and blank uncoated glasses. The heating rate of CsxWO3 coated glasses with different Cs content is significantly lower than that of blank glass. CsxWO3 films with different Cs contents all have good thermal insulation effect, and thermal insulation effect of CsxWO3 films increases with the increase of Cs content. Among them, thermal insulation effect of Cs0.3WO3 film is the best, and the difference in thermal insulation temperature may reach 13.5°C.
Thermal insulation effect of CsxWO3 film is derived from near-infrared (800-2500nm) shielding performance of CsxWO3. Generally, the better the near-infrared shielding performance is, the better the thermal insulation performance is. And near-infrared shielding performance of CsxWO3 film increases with the increase of Cs content. Thermal insulation effect is also enhanced with the increase of Cs content.
