Cesium tungstate, as a near infrared shielding material, can be used for heat insulation in hot summer in the fields of construction glass and automotive glass.
There is a method for preparing cesium tungstate, which can solve the problems of poor dispersity, poor heat insulation and low visible light transmittance of products prepared by prior preparation methods.
Step one: Weight 1.47g sodium tungstate and 0.97g cesium carbonate, add 3mol/L citric acid solution and methanol reagent, stir evenly, and react at 200°C for 3h to obtain a mixture of tungsten and cesium;
Step two: Add 1.98g urea into the mixture obtained in step one. The pH of the reaction solution was adjusted to 4. And the mixture was stirred until urea completely dissolved to form transparent solution;
Step three: Stir the solution obtained in step two evenly and wash with argon for 10 min, then insert the ultrasonic probe under 70°C and argon gas protection, and irradiate the ultrasonic probe with a frequency of 20.50 kHz for 4h to obtain gel precipitate.
Step four: The gel precipitate was aged for 5h, filtered under pressure reduction, washed twice with distilled water, then washed with 10% ethanol solution until the filtrate was neutral, and finally washed twice with anhydrous ethanol. The obtained precursor was dried at 80°C for several hours and ground into powder. The powder was placed in muffle furnace and kept at 600°C for 3h. After cooling, cesium tungstate nanopowder was obtained.
