BRIEF INTRODUCTION
As a material with excellent comprehensive performance, mining cemented carbide is widely used in rock drill bits and is a tool for breaking rocks directly. At the same time, mining alloys are also one of the products with short service life and large consumption in the field of cemented carbide products. From the perspective of drill tool manufacturers, we hope that mining alloys have high hardness and good toughness, so that impact resistance and wear resistance are in the best state, but it is difficult to achieve the best of both worlds. It is expected that through the continuous research of cemented carbide production enterprises on the alloy tungsten carbide and cobalt content, and the grain size, the use performance of mining cemented carbide will become higher and higher.
Among all the cemented carbides for mining, the percussion drill bit has the most stringent requirements for the performance of the alloy teeth. Among the alloy teeth used in impact drill bits, the requirements on the side teeth of the drill bit are the most stringent. The edge alloy teeth are distributed around the drill bit at an inclination angle of 35-45 degrees, which not only breaks the rock, but also resists rock grinding, protects the steel body of the drill bit from being worn by the rock and causes early failure, and at the same time withstands a large angle of tipping Torque, so the hardness and toughness requirements of alloy teeth are very high. Manufacturers of drilling tools have also been hoping to have an alloy tooth with high shell hardness and good core toughness.
