The WL20 lanthanum tungsten electrode is a tungsten-based alloy electrode material that contains approximately 2% lanthanum. During TIG welding, the lanthanum tungsten electrode maintains a very stable arc, reducing arc fluctuations and deviations, which ensures higher precision and stability during the welding process.
Compared to pure tungsten electrodes, the lanthanum tungsten electrodes exhibit better arc stability and welding quality. The addition of lanthanum helps to reduce electrode wear at high temperatures, especially in high-current welding, effectively extending the electrode's lifespan, reducing the frequency of replacements, and lowering production costs.
