In January 2025, China’s imports of tungsten products totaled 1,326.25 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.99%. Among these, imports of tungsten powder amounted to 2,596 kilograms, down 51.97% year-on-year; tungsten wire imports reached 360 kilograms, decreasing by 55.00% year-on-year; sodium tungstate imports stood at 236.94 tons, reflecting a decline of 22.74% year-on-year; tungsten carbide imports dropped to 2,255 kilograms, a significant decrease of 78.74% year-on-year; and tungsten trioxide imports were 39 kilograms, plummeting by 97.83% year-on-year.
