Micro fine blue tungsten oxide’s XPS experiment is using a surface-sensitive quantitative spectroscopic technique to systematically analyze the valence changes of blue tungsten oxide during tungsten powder producing from tungsten ore. XPS is the short for X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
XPS Experiment of Micro Fine Blue Tungsten Oxide
1. The blue tungsten oxide powder sampled in the producing process is pressed into a φ11mm disc and delivered into ESCALAB-5. The multi-ding photoelectron spectrometer has an ultimate pressure of 2×10-10mbar.
2. An A1/Mg double anode with a voltage of 12kV and a current of 20mA is used to test XPS.
3. The voltage of electron multiplier is used in the platform zone of working curve.
4. The scan mode of energy analyzer is CAE, and the energy error of the analyzer is less than 0.1eV.
5. Ions sputtering is using ion gun with cold cathode, beam spot is greater than 6mm and ion beam energy is continuously adjustable.
