Characteristic
Near spherical tungsten powder is almost spherical, uniform with an average particle size of up to 67μm, a maximum particle size of up to 150μm, a maximum bulk density of 13.41g?cm ?3, and an optimal flowability of 9s per 50g.
Preparation
The method of plasma spheroidization is to add ordinary tungsten powder to the plasma jet to melt the surface (or the whole) of the tungsten powder particles to form droplets. The droplets shrink due to surface tension to form a sphere, and then rapidly cooled to fix the sphere, thereby obtaining a nearly spherical tungsten powder.
